Purpose of the condenser in your car

A condenser receives high pressure refrigerant gas from the compressor and converts it into liquid that will be passed through the descant bag / receiver drier and then on to the TX valve.

A condenser acts similarly to a radiator in the sense that it removes heat from the high pressure refrigerant.
